About Us

Derby Drivability is one of the driving assessment centres in the UK and Ireland that are accredited to FORUM, which is recognised by the Department for Transport.

The centre provides a service for people wishing to start or return to driving. A team of dedicated staff, with a range of technical and health and social care expertise offer information, advice and practical assessments. The clinical team are able to discuss driving in relation to a wide variety of medical conditions.

The team consists of:

• Clinical Assessors
• Driver Evaluators
• Driving Instructors
• Secretaries

Many queries can be dealt with over the telephone and demonstrations of passenger/driver related equipment can be arranged.

Passengers who need specialist seating or hoist equipment are also catered for.
